I’ve visited flight club twice, once with a group of friends and once for a works Christmas night out. Thoroughly enjoyed both times! After going the first time I knew it would be a great option for the Christmas do, and it was such a good laugh, we played over two boards, next to each other meaning you can still socialise with everyone. You can order drinks to the area but the bar was close by too. After we finished our session we went out to the rooftop area which was great, plenty of space and a great atmosphere. Although you’re outside there are plenty of heat lamps to keep you warm no matter the temperature.
Great experience with colleagues. Had a really fun time. Only downside is the 7 thousand stairs between floors, the pizzas were extremely thin and a little cold. Otherwise, I would go here again, hence the 5 stars!
The place to be in Cardiff. First floor has darts and lounging areas. Second floor is more to eat, and of course last floor has the rooftop. The food is good, the service is very polite, and the overall vibe was great. I'll be back and you should try it out.
Fun experience for a small party of us celebrating a birthday. Really nice venue across 3 floors with lift access for those that can't manage stairs. We were there late afternoon when it was quiet, so stayed on the ground floor but it did get busier as we were leaving into the evening so I can imagine the vibe is better when it's fuller. Food can be ordered but we didn't try any. Drinks prices were reasonable for city centre. Nice clean toilets. Note that U16's can't play & are restricted to certain areas only accompanied by adults and they are very strict on this!
I’d definitely recommend Flight Club’s rooftop bar if you’re heading to the Utilita Arena or just fancy a great night out. My wife, daughter, and I popped in before a show and had a brilliant time from start to finish. The vibe was spot on – lively but not too loud, with a really fun and relaxed atmosphere. The rooftop setting gave it a cool, open feel and the space looked great too. The drinks were top notch. There was loads of choice, from creative cocktails to decent wines and beers – something for everyone, really. Everything we tried tasted great and was served with care. The staff were a real highlight too – super friendly, quick to help, and really made us feel welcome. We were also really impressed with the prices. For the quality of the drinks and service, it felt like amazing value – especially in such a nice setting. It was the perfect start to our evening and set the tone for a great night. We’ll definitely be going back next time we’re in town. If you’re after good drinks, good service, and a great atmosphere, Flight Club’s rooftop is hard to beat.
Great experience from start to finish. Welcomed at the door by, what I assume was a security team member. They pointed us to the check in, booking was swiftly found and we were walked to our oche. Explained how the system works, how to order drinks and how to take group photos. The atmosphere was fun, music was varied and other groups seemed to be having a great time. Food and drink service was prompt. No longer than 60 seconds before someone was at our oche. Even when we didn’t call, wait staff were asking if we needed anything. It was a birthday celebration, and we had cake and a candle for the Birthday boy. Didn’t even ask for this! Will definitely go again!
Went here for a birthday party, 6 of us. Ate some wonderful food on the roof terrace, ordered via an app, worked well, along with drinks. A little slow for both and I would say it wasn't busy, so don't know how it would be at a busy time, but it wouldn't put me off....as it was so good. Pleasant staff, although they did say the beeper system doesn't reach the roof, they would come and get us, but forget about us, so we were late starting, no extension to our time due to the late start. Good setup though, good set of games and with auto scoring dart boards easy to use. Cameras set up for group photos and emailed results back to person that booked. Would definitely go again, but 11 each for an hour seemed OK, until you realise 6 of us played for an hour which cost 66, seems expensive like that......but it was fun, enjoyable and we had a great time.
I’ve been a few times the last few years and always had a great time. This time we did pizza and Prosecco. When we first arrived we noticed we were 2 bottles short but staff quickly rectified this and were more than helpful. Busy and lovely, always a good day/night here.
